Heat Insulation

Misconception: Our building absorb water from outside,we can get a permanent solution ny applying plaster or bitumen on the surface.

The truth: At first, the factors that causes the walls to absorb water should be looked into and precautions be taken accordingly.In a case that occured due to the lack of thermal insulation , the problem should be solved by doing internal and external insulation.In the case of a water leakage from outside especially in rainy days, cracks and gaps in the building should be repaired with water resistant materials.

Misconception: There is insulation material applied by

The truth:Paint and similar materials aren't heat insulation materials. Heat insulation is obtained with materials with low thermal conductivity and a certain thickness.Heat insulation increases with increasing thickness.Plaster and paint layers do not make heat insulation.

Misconception: We live in a warm region.We dont need heat insulation

The truth: Heat insulation saves energy and fuel that we spend to warm up in winter and cool in summer.For cooling of a building  requires more energy than heating does,heat insulation must be applied in warm regions as well.

Misconception: The walls of our building is built with gas-concrete.We do not need an extra heat insulation.

The truth: Gas-concrete is a building material but not a insulation material.No matter with what materials the building is made of ,all fronts including beams and columns,roof and floor must be insulated with heat insulation materials ;and special coated insulating glass units and insulated cutting glass should be used for windows.

Misconception: Our building  lose heat from north.We only need to insulate north front.

The truth: Insulation made only in a single front causes thermal bridges.Problems will continue in other fronts that weren't insulated.So all building components(roof, wall,) should be insulated

Misconception: I can apply heat insulation by myself or through familiar craftsman.

The truth: Your building must be examined by experts and solutions oriented applications must be applied by insulation companies who have knowledge of work.You can contact these companies via İZODER.

Misconception:If ı have glass mosaic,PVC,aminium and coating materials coated exterior facade ,I wont need to have thermal insulation.

The truth:Coating materials dont provide thermal insulation.Yhe functions of these substances should not be confused with thermal insulation.

Water Insulation

Misconception:The ground of the building does not absorb water so I dont need to have water insulation on the basement of the house.

The truth:Even if it's not on the ground,soil moisture and surface water can cause corrotion on the basement.For that reason  basic and curtain walls should be water insulated.

Misconception: Our house absorbs water from terrace roof.We've been told to solve it by ceramic coating.

The truth: Ceramic is a coating material not a insulation material.Insulation materials should be used for water problems.

Misconception: I live in roof floor.I only want  water insultation in the part of my apartment.

The truth: Water insulation shoul be applied in whole roof.Water can enter to the insulated area from the area without insulation so that whole roof shoul be water insulated.

Misconception:The reason of collapse of the buildings is weakening of carrier parts of buildings which do not have  water insulation by being exposed  to water (exposure)
